Dr. Lillian Eby, Professor of Psychology and Director of the Owens Institute for Behavioral Research, joined the University of Georgia in 1996. Dr. Eby’s is an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist with research interests are in the area of workforce development and occupational health. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and her work has been published in scholarly outlets such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Management, among others. Dr. Eby has also co-edited three books and her research has garnered numerous awards. She is currently the Associate Editor for the Journal of Applied Psychology and a Fellow of both the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. To support of her research, Dr. Eby has received several large grants from the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the National Science Foundation, in addition to internal research support from the University of Georgia and private industry.
