Sonya Gabrielian, MD, MPH, is a psychiatrist and health services researcher at the VA Greater Los Angeles (VAGLA). She is an investigator at the Center for the Study of Healthcare Innovation, Implementation, & Policy and the Mental Illness Research, Education, and Clinical Center at VAGLA. She is also an Affiliated Researcher at the National Center on Homelessness Among Veterans and an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. Her research interests focus on improving housing retention and community functioning among homeless adults with serious mental illness. She recently received a VA HS&RD Career Development Award to support her training in implementation science. Dr. Gabrielian is also a practicing psychiatrist in the VA’s homeless program.
