Kimberly Hoagwood, Ph.D.

Dr. Hoagwood is a nationally-recognized scholar whose research focuses on children’s mental health services and evidence-based practice. Currently, she conducts collaborative research looking at family peers as deliverers of family support and family-focused child mental health interventions as well as evidence-based practices and their implementation in children’s service systems. Dr. Hoagwood also works as the Director and Principal Investigator (PI) of two centers: The Implementation and Dissemination of Evidence-based Practices Among States (IDEAS) Center, funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH); and The Community Technical Assistance Center (CTAC), funded by the New York State Office of Mental Health. She is also the Principal Investigator on several other major grants and subcontracts, all focused on improving the quality of mental health services for children and families.
