Bo Kim, PhD, is a mental health services researcher at the VA Center for Healthcare Organization and Implementation Research, and an Instructor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. With an academic background in systems science and engineering, her research interests are in applying engineering methodologies toward studying the quality and implementation of mental health services. She currently serves as a junior investigator for the VA’s Behavioral Health and Bridging the Care Continuum Quality Enhancement Research Initiative programs, which are programs specifically focused on implementing evidence-based practices rapidly into routine care. Through the Implementation Research Institute Fellowship, she looks forward to growing her knowledge and experience in implementation frameworks and models, multi-modal implementation strategies for translating research findings into practice, and mixed-methods approaches to implementation evaluation.
